The Psithur Project

A Sonic Literary Collection

Psithurism refers to the rustling or gentle whispering of leaves as the wind blows through the trees.

If you ran your finger along a line of Dostoevski, Plath, or Roth, how would it sound? Would it sing? Would it rasp? Would it take you on a deluge of sonic tumbling?

Pynewood Press is seeking 3-5 writers to contribute a piece of short fiction (up to 2,000 words) for an anthology, paired with a musician's interpretation on the movement, shape and rhythm of the story.

Accompanying each story will be a QR code that links the reader to a soundscape composed specifically for the story, to be listened to simultaneously.

We are looking for unconventional, experimental stories, prose or poetry from any genre.

If you want to be part of it, submit here.
